Welcome to Paddle Trails Canoe Club
Since 1970 - 56 years and counting!

Paddle Trails Canoe Club exists to make paddling welcoming, sustainable, and fun for people at every stage of their journey.

Based in the Puget Sound region of the Pacific Northwest, we paddle canoes, kayaks, and inflatables on rivers, lakes, and salt water. While we welcome all types of paddlers, our instructional courses focus on canoeing — supporting both new and experienced canoeists in building skills, confidence, and good judgment on the water.

Our trips and classes emphasize safety, learning, and enjoyment, without pressure to paddle harder, faster, or beyond what feels right. PTCC is a supportive, inclusive, all-volunteer community where paddlers grow at their own pace and form lasting friendships.

We paddle for scenery, wilderness, curiosity, and the simple joy of being on the water — and yes, we’re probably paddling something right now.

We invite you to take a few minutes to explore our site and past issue of Canews, our newsletter. If you like what you see, please join us. We always welcome new members.

Household memberships are only $25 per year!  Want to learn more? Click here.  Ready to join? Join Now!

Paddle Trails Canoe Club is one of the best paddling-focused organizations in the Pacific Northwest. The reason is because of its members, many of whom volunteer a bit of time to help out with the programs, events, trips, and classes we offer to our members. Check out how to get involved, here!

2026 Paddle Trails Annual Winter Bash!

Come join us for a fun evening!  Let's get together in person, celebrate and raise a toast to what we all hope will be a great 2025 paddling season.  Come join us to share paddling adventures from last year, new adventures for this year and some good food and friendships.  We will also be building this season's trips into our paddling Calendar so please think about what trips you'd like to coordinate.  Please see the event in the Events Calendar or in the upcoming events window for details!

Saturday, February 21st  2026 from 6:30 - 9:00 PM
