Reports from Trips

Upper MF Snoqualmie @ 1900 cfs 4-23-16 Steve Reutebuch

Published on 4/23/2016
On Saturday, April 23, 8 PTCC members ran the Upper Middle Fork Snoqualmie from just below the confluence with the Taylor river to the access point 3 miles above the concrete bridge. The flow was just about perfec at 1900 cfs:  high enough to have some fun waves and not scrapy and low enough that things weren't washed out.

Bob SchNeider and Becca Poglase were in a tandem canoe as were Janiene Hicciardi and Katie Novak. Ollie Royer was in her trusty IK.  Pat Contor and Steve Reutebuch were in their solo canoes and Erin Moore was in a hardshell kayak.

The weather cooperated well--overcast with no rain and temps in the 60's.

We didn't encounter any significant wood hazards and there were no swims!
Post-paddle, we enjoyed baked treats at Georgia's Bakery in North Bend.
