About this event
Our annual tidewater trip up McAllister Creek heading up on the flood tide and back on the ebb. We follow the edge of Puget Sound alongside the Billy Frank Wildlife Refuge, then up narrow McAllister through woodlands and then salt marsh. Expect to eat your picnic lunch in your boat as there are no good landing spots. Lots of nature, mostly calm water, possible challenges from downed trees, so trip leader will have his pruning saw handy.
