Boulder Drop Success

Published on 5/11/2015

Don Cheyette ran Boulder Drop in a kayak at 2250 cfs on April 24th. He ran the right line, eddied out, then ferried across to airplane turn and had a successful exit down past the wave train at House Rock.

It is the first time he has run it in 4 years, and his first successful clean descent (no swims!) He had a strong team of kayakers with him, but the flows were perfect and it couldn't have been a prettier day.

He used a Jackson Karma (lg), which boofed everything like a dream, but wasn't the most exciting boat. Look back for next time- when Don swam Boulder Drop. COMING SOON!!!
